Iris graminea

Iris graminea grows wild in the undergrowth on calcareous soil between Campo dei Fiori, M. Crocione, M. Pravello and Monte S. Giorgio. Its linear leaves are less than a centimetre wide and much longer than the inflorescence. The fragrant flowers have unusual structure and colour patterning.
